GMUVE Python uses a number of the features of Python to make it easy to write the GMUVE engine. Since Python is interpretted Python can be both the language that GMUVE is written in and the scriptting language used to manipulate GMUVE objects. GMUVE objects are simply Python objects that can be stored in the GMUVE datastore.
